The first SANESA Interschools qualifier took place this past weekend. It was lovely to see all our primary school riders and their ponies again after a well-deserved break. Abigail Veldtman, riding Daydream Flirting Lass, joined the team this year and they managed a well-deserved 10th and 17th place in their show jumping and equitation events.
Congratulations to Emma-Jayne Simmonds and Midas Touch who won both their equitation and dressage classes and placed third in both Prix Caprilli classes. They were joined by Kendra Wise riding Turkish Delight who also walked away with a first place in Prix Caprilli and a third place in dressage. Victoria Haines and Chase Me Charlie earned themselves two second places in dressage and Prix Caprilli and another third place in dressage.
Jimmy Bean took good care of our youngest rider, Alessia Biscarini and they placed 5th and 10th in their jumping and equitation events, while Angela Dietrich and Captains Treasure stood their ground against some tough competition in their jumping and equitation classes. Well done to all our riders.
