Today we celebrate the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere and to mark the occasion our girls and staff came to school in their pjamas, fluffy slippers, and gowns.

On Sunday, 28 May, Noora Motiizadeh participated in The South African Suzuki Association National Concert 2023, playing the violin.

We are proud to announce that Brescia House School Educational Psychologist, Chaland van Zyl, has officially been awarded her Doctorate in this field from the University of Johannesburg.

On Wednesday 29 March, Brescia House School proudly hosted it’s 2nd “Our voices help heal” concert in support of the Teddy Bear Foundation (fondly also known as the Teddy Bear Clinic).

Our annual PTA Dad and Daughter Potjie took place on Saturday, 1 April and what a turn-out we had! Dads and daughter, uncles and grandads arrived with their spatulas, potjies and secret ingredients, to compete for the coveted title of Best Potjie.

Friday morning our Brescia House School community once again came together to show support for two very worthy organisations – CANSA and CHOC.

International Day of Mathematics is celebrated annually on March 14, also known as PI Day: 14.3 and 3.14.

Today, the Intermediate Phase Mathematics department celebrated World Maths Day. World Maths Day is an international celebration of Mathematics coordinated by 3P Learning (the makers of Mathletics).
