Book Drive

Last year our library did a big drive to collect books from our girls to donate to Mayfair Convent. Mayfair Convent did not have a single modern book in their non-existent library. The response from our Brescia House School family was overwhelming and we collected over 6000 books for them. It has taken a team of retired volunteers a year to cover each book and get this library going. Miss Reese and Mrs Kenyon were invited to view the library this week. They were overwhelmed by what had been achieved and at how excited the children are to be reading. For many of the children, these books are the only ones they have access to, as many do not have parents in a financial position to provide any at home.
