Microsoft Global Connection

The grade 9s had the fantastic opportunity of partaking in the Microsoft Global Connection. We travelled nearly 20 000kms around the world from the comfort of our Brescia House classrooms.

The connections started in with teachers and learner from New Deli, India. We discussed topics on climate changed and our cultures, shared some dances and laughter. We then hopped to Poland to connect with Szkola Podstawowa in Kujawsko-pomorskie Torun, Poland. After that, we came back home to meet with Jasmin Pillay, the HR manager of Microsoft South Africa. She inspired our girls with her career journey and what she learnt on her path. The grade 7s managed to join us for a quick connect as Jasmin left us one last take away …”always remember to take someone along with you”.
