Rock Climbing
In June, Emma Williamson participated in the SANCF (South African National Climbing Federation) competition held at City Rock in Cape Town.
To qualify for this competition, she climbed in the Gauteng Climbing competitions in March and April, and qualified to represent Gauteng in the national competitions for both boulder and lead. In spite of injuring her ankle a month before the national competition (which meant she was not able to do the boulder category), she was able to climb lead (where she came 6th), earning her Gauteng Colours. The colours certificate was awarded on Saturday at City Rock Johannesburg. Well done Emma.
