Equestrian

The premier event in the SA Showjumping calendar is SA Youth Champs, held every year in December and includes the inter provincial competitions. Riders travel from all over the country to compete, resulting in stiff competition amongst an experienced group of riders. Tanith Wise and Erin O’Dwyer participated in this festival and both achieved fantastic results.

Tanith and Contacto achieved a 4th and a 5th in their 90cm competitions during the week and in the final 90cm Children’s Championship event she placed 3rd. Based on the results achieved during the course of 2019, Erin and Perci had been selected to represent Gauteng for the inter provincial competitions. Erin and Perci won their 1m Children’s Championship event, ending on a high note after a very competitive year with Gauteng coming out tops overall.
