Matric Geography

On the weekend of the 13th to 15th March, the Matric Geography class ventured into the outdoor classroom. Saturday morning was spent exploring various types of settlements in the Magaliesberg area and Saturday afternoon was focussed on river studies. The class got 'showered on' halfway up the ridge, but chose to press on to the source – Brescia House School Geographers are brave and adventurous! Sunday was spent doing an urban transect from Magaliesburg, through Cosmo City, the Sandton CBD and ending up in the Johannesburg CBD. A great way to end the term, as it turns out.
