Hockey Leagues

Congratulations to all our talented hockey players who competed in the various leagues this year.

Georgie Prince and Kristen Cikes played for the Central Samurais U13 girls in the Oct 2021 JHL tournament, winning 3rd place bronze medals.

Georgie also represented Wanderers in the recent PSI Joburg Giants indoor hockey U13 league where they won 1st place.

Emma Prince played in the recent PSI Gryphons indoor hockey league for Dragons U18 girls where they were runners up in the league. Emma also played for the Wanderers Ladies 2nd team where they won the 2021 promotion league. She also represented Eastside Mavericks U16 girls in the Oct 2021 JHL tournament.

Nicole Chikweshe, Zoe Lupke, Zara Colyn and Andreia Sequeira also competed in the JHL league.

Both Nicole and Zoe’s teams took Gold, while Andreia was awarded Player of the Match for her excellent goalkeeping skills.

We are so proud of you all for your determination and continued commitment to the sport. Well done.
