Debating

We are proud of the Brescia senior debating team, consisting of Alexia Muzenda, Amahle Mkangisa, Corali Reed, Palesa Ntsoane, and Zoe Lupke, who achieved exceptional speaker scores and made the break in the Gauteng Provincial Debating Tournament over the weekend of the 10-11 September. Debating for a full day (from 8:00 until after 17:00) on both the Saturday and the Sunday, the team conducted themselves with aplomb, engaging skillfully with a range of challenging topics including the ethics of trendy “thrifting”, and gender politics. We look forward to seeing their continued growth in the rounds to come.
