Gauteng Schools Diving Trials

Once again, our divers did Brescia House School proud at the Gauteng Schools Trials held on Saturday, 24^th of September at Roedean School.

The following divers took part in the event with some being selected to represent Gauteng at the SA Schools event that will be held at St Andrew’s on 15^th of October 2022: 13 Years: Claudia Puzone who placed second in the Elite section and was selected to dive for the SA Schools event. Azile Peter placed fourth in the Novice Section along with Lorna Kernahan who placed eighth. 14 Years: Rachel Meyburgh, placed first in Novice competition and was pushed up to Elite for the SA Schools event. Isabella Van Tonder placed second in novice and was also selected to dive in SA Schools. 15 Years: Jodie McLeman placed first in Novice and Tshidi Hove placed third, and were both selected to dive for SA Schools. Jordan Friedl will be diving for the U16 age group in the Year 16 event for SA Schools. Robyn Crighton in 17/18 years, dived beautifully, and just missed the podium by a few points, coming fourth. All the divers showed incredible skill and talent on the day and held the Brescia House School name high. A big thank you and well done to our amazing divers and their coach, Fiorella Barberini.
