Grade 1 and 2 Retreat

They began with an opening prayer and learnt that through worship and wrapping themselves in Jesus’ love, they too can become splendid butterflies - the best version of themselves in God’s Kingdom. They enjoyed a caterpillar race – with balloons keeping their ‘catepillar segments’ together. They learnt about the lifecycle of the butterfly and how this represents Jesus and his love wrapped around us- that we too can change from the humble caterpillar to a magnificent butterfly and achieve great things in God’s name. They then made beautiful crowns, with yummy treats symbolising the stages of the lifecycle of a butterfly.

It is so much fun to be able to finally work together as a whole grade in one space again.
