JHL Competition 2022

The Johannesburg Hockey League (JHL) competition was held towards the end of August and once again our Brescia House School pupils did us proud.

Natania Komakech captained the Northside Griffins U13 girls team at the 2022 JHL competition. The finals were held on 28 August and their team won gold, beating 5 other teams from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The team was unbeaten in all their matches that they played in the week leading up to the finals.

Hayley Rouan competed in the U12 JHL competition and was vice-captain for the Central Samurais. Their team also ended wining the inaugural U/12 tournament through a penalty shootout – Hayley was the first to go and very bravely made it count.
