Knitting Project 2022

Once again, we are appealing to our Brescia House School community to get knitting and crocheting for our 2022 Community Partnership Project. Items will be sewn together by our Woolworx club into blankets, beanies, stress balls, boiled egg cozies, blankets, and scarves. Teddies and stress balls are donated to the Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused children and other registered NPO’s working with orphaned and vulnerable children or high trauma cases (e.g., SAPS trauma unit). Other knitted products will be donated to NPO’s working with the disadvantaged, elderly or disabled. Completed items can be dropped off at various security entrances to the school in sealed see-through plastic bags. Please write the name of the person donating the products clearly on a piece of paper INSIDE the bag if you are expecting a personal acknowledgement of receipt. Mark all items for the attention of Liz Norman.
