Triathle and Biathle World Champs

Isla Thomas took part in the Triathle and Biathle World Championships in Madeira, Portugal, on 29th and 30th of October. She finished 12th in the Triathle U/15 girls race out of 38 athletes.

Isla also finished 22nd in the Biathle u/15 girls race out of 42 athletes from 31 countries.

The Triathle consists of a 600m run, 5 shoots from 5m, and a 50m open water swim - repeated 3 times.

The Biathle is a race consisting of an 800m run, 100m open water swim and then a final 800m run.
