2023 African/Oceania Pentathlon Championships

Isla Thomas embarked on an unforgettable journey to Cairo on August 27^th, representing South Africa in the 2023 African/Oceania Pentathlon Championships and Olympic qualifier. The ladies SA team, which consisted of Isla, Kayleigh and Nicci, secured the silver team medal for the championships. Isla was also awarded a trophy for being the youngest female (and youngest overall) athlete in the competition. Individually, she placed 11^th overall in the championships.
