Choir and Music Institute Performances

It was a busy week for our Music Department with our Choir and Musicians performing at different events throughout the week.

On Tuesday 6 June, the High School Choir and Bel Canto Choir participated in the Kingsmead Choir Festival named Masikule Sonke at Kingsmead College. They did us proud with a beautiful performance under direction of Gareth Dry.

On Wednesday 7 June, the Music Institute hosted the annual Winter Concert and had a whopping 38 intermediate to advanced level performances, featuring pupils all the way from Grade 3 up to Grade 12. We also had our very first electric guitar performance by Melina Fatouros and two contemporary voice items performed by Hannah Shipalana and Rato Rakharabe.
