Grade 9 21CLD

Our Grade 9 21CLD Refugee class created an inspiring and informative exhibition to welcome Little Amal, a symbolic 12 foot tall puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee child. Little Amal travels the globe to raise awareness for the refugee crisis, and is welcomed by the local people of countries all over the world through the Walk With Amal initiative. Our students have created various posters to explore the global migration of refugees globally. The students imagined themselves in the shoes of refugees in their new lives outside of their countries, and wrote letters home to their families, describing how life has been for them. #Dontforgetaboutus #littleamal @walkwithamal
