Growing leaders for the future
On 9th September, Brescia House School, on behalf of the Catholic Schools Office, hosted over 230 Grade 11 pupils from 13 Catholic schools for a leadership workshop.
The event included guest speakers, Mr Lloyd Ripley-Evans and our own educational psychologist Dr Chaland van Zyl, who discussed key concepts of leadership and self-awareness. Pupils were also given the opportunity to work together in breakaway groups.
Ms Khanyi Mlambo was our final speaker who provided an engaging narrative of overcoming adversity and shared her leadership lessons from mountaineering.
All the Grade 11 pupils left the event enthusiastic about taking on leadership roles in their schools.
