SA Level 3 Regional Swimming Champs

The SA Level 3 Regional Swimming Champs were held 31 March - 3 April in Germiston and the following Brescia House School girls all qualified for the championships: Gemma Walters, Mia Wellstead, Natania Komakech, Colby Cochrane and Isla Thomas. The girls swam brilliantly and achieved the following results:

13 year olds - Gemma won silver in 200m back and bronze in 100m back, 100m free, 50m fly, and 200m IM. 4th in 100 breast, 5th in 200 free.

14 year olds - Natania placed 5th in 50 free and 100 Free, 6th in 50 Back and 8th in 100 Back with personal best times in 4 of the 5 races entered.

14 year olds - Mia placed 5th in 100m back, 7th in 200 free, 50 back, 100 free, and 8th in 50 free. With personal bests in all her events.

14 year olds - Colby placed 6th in 100 free, 4th in 50 free, and 4th in 4 x 100 free mixed relays, 4th in 4 x 50 free relay.

15 year olds - Isla won gold in 200 IM, silver in 100 free, 4 x 50 free relay, bronze in 100 fly, 4 x 100 free relay. 6th in 200 free, 50 fly, and 50 free.

These are superb results and we are so proud of all of you!
