St Ursula's Feast Day

The Feast of St Ursula, patroness of the Ursuline Sisters globally, was celebrated at Brescia House School on Friday, 20 October 2023. The Brescia House community engaged with the history and the ongoing values of the brave woman of faith, Ursula. Mass was celebrated at the Bryanston Catholic Church, which included a presentation by Caitlin Tudhope (née Sugden), Head Girl 2010. Caitlin presented an inspirational overview of her journey as a Brescia girl that began in her primary school years and has spanned over the years since she matriculated. The Blessings of the Brescia Bears Early Learning Centre and the Walkway provided a reminder of the connectiveness of the Brescia House community and how blessed all who have been through this place of learning, those who are presently here, and those who will work, play and learn here in the future, are. A delicious tea closed the day’s programme, where prayers were offered for the Sisters of the Ursuline Order and a gift was presented to Sr Jeanette Essey in celebration of the Feast of St Ursula. #Insieme
