Voices Help Heal
On Wednesday 29 March, Brescia House School proudly hosted it’s 2nd “Our voices help heal” concert in support of the Teddy Bear Foundation (fondly also known as the Teddy Bear Clinic). Music has an amazing capacity to bring people together and help our souls heal! Pupils across the school used the power of the human voice to entertain and delight the audience. The school’s talented marimba band added a special touch to the event. “Brescia House School has a long-standing relationship with the Teddy Bear Foundation and we cannot thank them enough for the valuable work they do in terms of protecting and defending the rights of abused and vulnerable children,” said Liz Norman, Head of Counselling and Community Outreach at the school. “Our pupils have opened their hearts and lifted their voices to help ensure that the Teddy Bear Foundation can continue providing services to abused children and their families.”
The evening was extremely successful and happy, with a packed audience and uplifting atmosphere. “The girls’ voices are like tonic to the soul and so empowering too,” said Dalene Bishop, Teddy Bear Foundation Donor Liaison.
