This weekend the Matric Geography girls, joined by some of the Assumption Convent girls, completed their field work component. Saturday was spent doing Settlement Studies in and around the village of Magaliesburg. Saturday afternoon was spent following the stream at Bush Trail camp to its source. On Sunday the girls did a comparison of Cosmo City, the Sandton CBD and the Johannesburg CBD. Geography always makes more sense when you can see the real thing.

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter "π") is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for our Brescia math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and to – of course - eat Pie.

It's that time of year again where the primary and high school Serviam groups would like to invite ALL our parents, grandparents, alumnae, staff and pupils to join us in knitting or crocheting as many Teddy bears as possible for charity again this year. This project has grown massively across the years, so we now encourage you to also knit scarves, beanies, baby booties, blankets, stress balls or simple squares as well. Please find information attached including patterns attached.
